Mike writes musicals, plays, and lyrics, and thanks to his participation in the BMI Lehman-Engel Musical Theatre Workshop, he is writing more at an alarming rate.
Together with his writing partner Dylan MarcAurele, in addition to the original historical tragicomedy Lewis Loves Clark (2024 NAMT Annual Festival of New Musicals, 2023 Richard Rodgers Award winner, 2020-21 Dramatists Guild Foundation Fellowship), he has also written the family musicals The Mystery of Custodia and Miley Chase the Science Ace.
Plays include Carrie & Otis (Adams Pool Theatre), Sorry (Harvard Playwrights’ Festival), and Space: Four Stories in Boston.
With writing partner Micah Leslie, he has also written Mike and Micah Lose A Bunch of Kids in the Woods (Loeb Drama Center at A.R.T.) and Hellbent (TV pilot).
